I definitely also suffer from the shiny new project syndrome. It is my major weakness. Since nobody's asked me to write a series yet, I can't speak to whether it's hard or not. I don't really know if story=heart and I can't tell if I struggle with either so I will skip that one. Aside from my debut, I don't have pre-launch nerves because I forget when my books are supposed to come out (with the last 2 books, I made Canva graphics the morning of the release dates to share on social media; I am so lame). You can't get anxious about something you don't remember is happening. 😆

I agree with all of these. The shiny new thing is a terrible rascal in my life. And I definitely suffer horribly before a book launch (which is what I'm experiencing now). I also will find any way to put off the real work by goofing off on my computer and checking my email all day long, thinking that maybe NOW is the time I will hear from my agent. LOLOL.
