Wow - I'd love to see a profile on Art Hand, the generous giver of McCloskey books!

My local store has been so good to me, and has a lot of signed copies of my latest middle grade book on hand. Anything you'd recommend I can do to help that local store move copies of the book? Other than promoting it on social media, of course!

I'll reach out to Robin and ask her for any tips.

In the meantime, here are some from me:

I try to go to the local bookstores to support other people's events as well as my own which might not sell my own books but helps build community.

I have been an "in conversation with" partner with Vicky when she's launched books at one of our local stores which also results in some sales for my own books.

I participate in school visits and book fairs in conjunction with a couple of my local stores too (I did one just this week where we sold a lot of books which was awesome).

Anytime you talk about your book, make the first link or place you send people your indie store.
